Application / entry forms for the 2018 event.

Hi all.

We have now started to receive application / entry forms for the 2018 event.

Please take a look at the webpage you can find the entry form on there to send electronically direct from the site itself.

Please remember the tyre details and valve type for the wheels.

We are still looking sponsors for the event. We currently have gained some sponsorship but we are still in need of an additional £2.5 to £3k if we want to take out 100 people this year.

Derek came up with a great idea for UMBR2018… Martin House roughly costs £16,500 per day to run… so for UMBR 2018 we have the target at £16,500.

Thanks to some help from John Fletcher we now know about the team events within JustGiving so you can all set your own JustGiving pages and we can link them altogether on the team page.

Thanks to some great writeups from MH we have new members for UMBR 2018. Welcome to those that are joining us. We do like to have the details of our event spread far and wide and help build awareness of MH do.

For anybody interested I have been and collected the small Marty Bear teddies, they are available at a cost of £5 each. My Marty so has been to Egypt, Peru, Florida twice and completed the bike ride several time. Photographic evidence is available.

Marty loves to travel, get yours and let his adventures start, take the photos and write a story. My Marty sent daily updates back to MH from his holiday in Florida.

Due to the popularity of the event and the known interest of other groups this year I would suggest you get your names down early for UMBR 2018. We potentially have room for 80 cyclists.
